I am Katie Allman reporting for Katy chats here at the golden box office Awards in downtown Toronto with David paid Co how does it feel to be here at the Goldie it's it's great it's fun it's nice to see the guys I haven't seen in a long time and to be at the Hockey Hall of Fame on it Tuesday morning yeah it's fun what was it like making this film with Mike dose and Jay Baruchel and all these tremendous actors it was a lot of fun we got to be in Winnipeg we got to work hard and then play hard and and there was lots of laughing and good times and I'll never forget it have you always been a hockey fan yes I'm a die-hard Canucks fan and I play although ironically I don't know if it's ironic but I didn't get to play in the movie which was which is I was just a big fan what is the importance of Canadian film and Canadian hockey to you I guess it's the two most important things if the Canucks win the Stanley Cup and a Canadian film wins an Oscar I could die and go to heaven were you ever expecting goon to do this well while you were shooting the film I had hoped you know but no you had no idea and you have no idea how any jokes gonna go over you don't have any idea how how it's going to play and but it worked it worked wonders and what is the importance of telefilm and the government supporting our art here in Canada to you it's it's incredibly important and for them to to support a film like this and to see it through to the to just this success that became as uh was essential and and let's hope we can make more films that do just as well if not better thank you so much David and congratulation thank you I'm Katie Ullman reporting for Katy chats here at the Goldie's in downtown Toronto Nathan's with all the winners we're really proud really proud of this in ancient times and it's a that's concluded this morning's ceremony you
